Violence in Our Schools
In the past our schools have been seen as a learning institution for both educational and social growth. However, over the past decade our schools have become a veritable war zone. Teachers and students have been victimized in our schools and on our school grounds all over the globe and the unfortunate reality of our present day is that this will continue to happen. ... The violence in our schools has become a national catastrophe and the scariest part about it, is that it is no longer isolated in the inner city schools. ... Without proper guidance, structure, and security our schools are not meeting the needs of our children. Instability breeds calamity and with the way our society is heading today it is of little wonder why our schools have become battle fields.
