Revelations are the ways in which God shows himself on earth. There are natural revelations, which can be discovered by reason, but there are also special revelations which require explaination. Christians insist that these revelations are true and essential to their knowledge of God. Many people, however, believe that revelations are simply psychological; that people alter the way they view events until they make sense as evidence of God’s existence. ... To a Christian, revelations are essential to understand God, and are also proof that God exists, because He has changed so many people’s lives.
