Greetings all my traveling friends
Now sit back till my story ends
As you all should know Hubert is the name
And for tonight to tell a tale is the game
Many people try to manipulate the system
So many that you can’t even list them
This even includes men of the law
Which gets me to the best moral of all
Which is what you do to many
Shall come back to you in plenty
Now let’s not waste another blink
Just poor me one last drink
This tale is of a judge named Ben
Who didn’t care if he would sin
A big man dressed in marvelous fur
Of the best make all his clothes were
Long gray hair and a long graybeard
With big blue eyes and big fat ears
Greed captured this man’s heart
He went after money like a dart
Although Ben had a law degree
He would release men for a small fee
Some could not afford to pay
But still served the judge another way
These included men stuck at the bar
And the women who took it pretty far
Ben appointed them as spies
And didn’t care if they told several lies
They brought in the wealthy men
Even if they were free from sin
One day this man was brought front and center
Not knowing he actually was a sinner
Big man with lots of wealth this Dan
Rich but also new to this land
Brought in to meet with the judge
But his pocket would not budge
Getting mad Ben started to bow
The past of this man he did not know
Dan had a secret in his hand
Not knowing it would later bury him in the sand
For this man was also a judge of the city
Like Ben he loved money with no pity
These two not knowing what to do
They became one when actually two
Taking the last of the town’s money as a team
You would think to the judges would be a dream
Both wishing that their riches were higher
The town had no more money for their desire
The only way for either to become the richest around
They would have to place the other in the ground
Ben was to make Dan’s bread his task
For it to be his partner’s last
Once Ben made sure his friend was fed
Before you knew it old Dan was dead
Then Ben overjoyed claiming his riches
Not aware he would soon also be in the ditches
Prior to Judge Dan’s passing away
The murder of Ben came by pay
With all the money and riches to no owner
It would not go to just one loner
For the entire town would be to gain
For these two judges being slain
Now as my story ends
I hope you enjoyed it my friends
Now before we go in for the night
Let me remind you of this story’s light
The moral of this story is extremely great
When thought about it, it is also fate
That if you do bad things to several
Later you will be meeting with the Devil
Why do those important men seem to be liars?
