Many arguments have been brought forth concerning the subject of cloning. Some have put forth valid arguments supporting cloning. ... Others just get lost in a world of ‘what-ifs’ when it comes to the idea of cloning humans. In opposition, there are many people who argue against cloning based on their religion and/or personal beliefs. ... I personally believe that cloning is an area of science in which scientists need to keep their noses out of. Cloning is a relatively expensive procedure and I believe if something is going to be made available to better human life, it should be available to all humans, not just wealthy ones. Leukemia, any of various diseases of the blood-making tissues, is expected to be one of the first benefits to come from cloning technology. ... Through cloning, scientists also believe they can find ways of preventing and/or treating genetic disorders such as Down Syndrome, Tay-Sachs, Tourette Syndrome, Cystic Fibrosis and many others.
