Detailed Design Introduction: As outlined in the requirement specification as well as that of the project proposal document, the main aim of the project is to validate LSIB’s library function into an automated system that aids in the day to day functions of running a library making it easier, faster and less stressful and ultimately make it as paperless as possible with respects to students, lecturers, support staff and senior management (major stakeholders). In this phase of the project which is the detailed design, this document is just to elaborate a bit on what exactly is to take place in a couple of months; this is to say, the project team have now reached the actual development stages of the project.
