Morality
The most common definition of morality is knowledge of right and wrong. People use morality to justify their actions and decisions, and some individuals also try to astound their own morals upon other people in the idea that standards of right and wrong are alike for everyone. In her essay "On Morality," Joan Didion objects to such thinking, saying that each person can have a different conception of morality. ... Didion believes, “The disturbing aspect of morality seems to me to be the frequency with which the word now appears. ... Who is to define the word “morality” when it is different in everyone’s mind?
