Architecture was once described as, “The conscious, correct, and magnificent interplay of volumes assembled under light. ... Architecture is known to be the oldest form of art. ... In the following essay I will examine the history, skills, and educational requirements of architecture. ... (Architecture is one of the oldest forms of art. ... ) Some examples of amazing ancient architecture are: the Mayan temples in Mexico, the Roman Cathedrals in Italy, the Egyptian pyramids in Egypt and thousands more. ... Additional courses must then be taken to earn a masters or a doctorate degree in architecture. ... A very famous architect from the late 1800’s, Frank Loyd Wright described architecture as “One that proceeds, persists, creates, according to the nature of man and his circumstances as they both change.” (3) In my opinion the field of Architecture has proven and still remains a challenging and fascinating career.
