Nazi Propaganda During the time in which the Third Reich was under Hitler’s rule, mass propaganda was issued to the people, manipulating them to feel a certain way toward Germany. These messages that Hitler force-fed to his people provoked feelings that were meant to support Nazi ideology. The attached example of a propaganda poster features heaven opening up to Hitler, the main image, as he is proudly carrying a swastika flag. ... Through the imagery in the poster, the message of having complete trust in Hitler promotes Nazi ideology through unification of religion, military, and race. ... As a result, Nazi ideology supported the idea of being a “Nazi Christian”- one who is loyal to both Christ and Hitler.
