Scarlet Letter Essay Everyone makes mistakes in their lifetime. Some mistakes are more grievous and consequential then others. People deal with their mistakes and the consequences of their mistakes in different ways. In the story of the Scarlet Letter Hester Prynne and Arthur Dimmesdale, and Bill Clinton in real life made the same type of mistake and each dealt with it differently coming to different outcomes. Hester Prynne made the mistake of committing adultery. Her mistake was known because she became pregnant in the absence of her husband.
