The need for esteem and self-actualisation did not even occur to her even though her need for love and belongingness was met. This again contradicts Maslow’s theory, which states that the fulfilment of one need results in the desire for another. ...

However, the point I’m making is that Maslow completely ignored the need for religious and spiritual satisfaction in his theory. In fact, I observed that the need for spiritual satisfaction was so strong that it did not even depend on any other needs in his hierarchy.
