As the Red, White, and Blue boys walk onto the stage, testing each other in a combat of wits, knowledge, and communication, we, the audience are drawn in tight, close to the action as these two political figures fight each other for the highest office of our great country, the Presidency of the United States of America. ... But what is the exact definition of the American hegemonic ideal: a white heterosexual couple with two and a half kids, living in the suburbs, in a house with a white picket fence and walk-in closet? ... Both walked onto the stage, wearing a white shirt, red tie, and dark suit, and were placed in front of a blue background.
