Compare the Hebrew God in pp 51 61 with the Greek Gods and Goddesses in the
It amazes me how different the Greek gods and goddesses are from the God of Hebrew. I could probably make a list a page long of the many differences between these Greek gods and goddesses and the one God but lets just think of a God who is not fearful of anything at all, compared to gods that are fearful; a god that when He commands you he demands respect and obedience compared to gods who are hardly respected and oftentimes ignored; and most of all, think about having just having one all-powerful God to call on instead of so many different gods––none having absolute power. Somehow, fear and the God of Hebrew are not synonymous at all when it is used to mean that He is fearful of anyone. I have never read anywhere or heard any of my elders say that God was worried about answering a prayer or performing a miracle for someone because he feared retribution of any kind. For example, when Isaac asked God to bless his wife with child, He just did it without hesitation. ... This is not so for the Greek gods and goddesses at all; they definitely show fear at times.
