Water pollution is a dilemma that can be very harmful to both the people and the environment they live in. ... Water supplies are used for drinking and washing. However, with the pollution that is being done to the water, drinking water has caused several diseases to human beings. Drinking water is taunted by industrial and agricultural pollution, waste disposal and chemical wastes from petroleum and mining. ... Water pollution not only takes nature’s beauty away, but it also sabotages the living environment for all organisms. All living thins in water like fishes, octopuses and others also suffer death and even become extinct. The poisonous substances that are found in these water from all the water which is drowned into the sea and all the wastes dumping cause a lack of oxygen to the aquatic organisms then and eventually die. This pollution severely infects water with various types of diseases and bacteria. Human beings that use this water for daily uses of life gradually causing horrible illnesses as well as other miserable conditions that will lead to death. In addition, water pollution contamination of streams, lakes underground water bays or oceans by substance are harmful to living things. There are three factors that lead to pollution. Despite the fact that most of the world’s surface is covered by water, less than one percent of the world’s freshwater is accessible for human use. The sea, rivers and lakes throughout the world suffer pollution. Seawater near the land is often polluted by sewage and storm water discharge from coastal cities (Healey, 31).
