In the beginning of our textbook it has a Chinese proverb that states “Things come in kinds, people come in groups.” I really liked this statement and believe it to be true. I feel like I got a bit cheated on this assignment, as I could not be there on speech night. I had fun in our group and was looking forward to our presentation. In any case I am just glad to have gotten to participate as much as I did. So I will discuss in this paper what groups are, why people join groups, and the types of small groups. The first thing I would like to talk about is what small group communication is. Small group communication can be defined as the interaction of a small group of people to achieve an interdependent goal.
