Justice? What exactly is justice? I think justice is upholding the law to the fullest. ... Aristotle agrees with this when he states “Justice exists between equals” (Aristotle 112). ... But is justice achievable? The only way justice will ever happen is if everyone is treated equally and the government treats people like human beings instead of little tax toys. Justice is an interesting word. ... If you favor certain people it is not justice. ... The government must be able to uphold the law to the fullest extent without discriminating in order for justice to be obtained. ... In order for justice to be fully achieved everyone must want it and work for it. ... That is what Aristotle was saying in A Definition of Justice. He says “justice is thought by them to be, and is, equality, not, however, for all, but only for equals” (Aristotle 115). He is stating justice is present only if equality is present. ... He was a very smart man and he said “Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere. ... In today’s society I think justice is very achievable, but it just depends on if everyone wants it. ... Equality will play a big role in this and it will continue to be a vital part of justice in the United States.
