US Foreign Policy would differ greatly with a woman as president or a majority of congress consisted of females. ... Our foreign policy would be different because of the “more open nature of women.” However a woman leader would have a few hard-line ideals but generally more laizze-faire views dealing with foreign policy. Domestic Policy would differ greatly and I think this would draw certain resources away from foreign policy. ... Finally our foreign policy would differ because women would not be hesitant in using morality in making there policy decisions. US Foreign Policy is not for the average Jane and Joe. Foreign policy is not a top concern of our media, and our government doesn’t run around screaming with foreign policies. Our questions go unanswered for reasons of “national security” and instead what happens is that we as citizens do not get to evaluate the decisions our government makes in terms of foreign policy. With a female leader at the helm of our nation, this would change dramatically, foreign policy would be of great concern to the people, and we would have greater say in foreign policy and there would be more discussion and deliberation of our foreign policy.
