Farming I am doing my project on farming. ... Farming is important to me because it was my whole life growing up. ... My dad said that the part of farming that he likes best is the field work and being his own boss. ... The worse part about farming according to my dad, is working in the barn, because cows always have to be tended to. ... My dad would love me to continue farming when he retires, but he always reminds me how hard it is and to consider all the good and bad things about it (Wilson). ... Before farming people relied mainly on hunting and gathering for food. ... Farming provided a stable food supply and a permanent place to live.
