IMRE LAKATOS For the majority of his philosophical career, Lakatos was a follower of Popper. Although, Lakatos’s notions of explanation, growth of knowledge and falsifiability are similar to the view of Popper, they are also influenced by influences of Kuhn’s paradigm.
