Leadership is one of those words that has many meanings and can be interpreted in many different ways. ... To me, leadership is not just the ability to lead; it is more like a privilege. Leadership is helping and relating to others, it is the ability to show one the correct path and the right steps to get there without pushing them. ... So as far as my prior leadership knowledge goes, I feel I have basically attained all of thought my experiences. ... I have attended about six leadership conferences, five of which I was an “LD” (leadership developer) which means I was in charge of a group of high school students for four or five days and I led discussions, etc. ... Other roles which involve leadership that I have been involved with have been life guarding, being the captain of a team, and even babysitting.
