WHAT NEW WORLD ORDER? ... ’s 1992 Foreign Affairs article, What New World Order?, he explores the aspects of a Post Cold War international scenario, while trying to delve into the elusive definition of “new world order” and presents its distinction from the “old order". He also evaluates five alternatives to the old world order and clearly gives us an analysis to reveal the significance of new world order starting off from George Bush’s rhetoric. This article has impressed on me a clearer understanding of what the phrase “new world order” really means. ... It was also amusing to find out that the Bush administration used those highfalutin terminologies without being aware that “the term ‘world order’ is used in two very different ways in discussions of world politics”.
