The Magical Maze
In the magical maze Ian Stewart writes, in the beginning of the book. “The title The Magical Maze sums up many of his feelings about the kind of approach to mathematics. It is a maze because being a mathematician involves navigating, with confidence, through an intricate network of logical possibilities. At every step you are faced with many different choices. Some choices lead to fruitful directions, however, most do not” (Stewart 2).
