Architecture is an important part of every civilization, it represents that civilization, it determines how they will be remembered, and what we’ll remember them for. Architecture represents the needs of the civilization and the wealth. ... Most of the time the art was actual part of the building and since the building were very religious. ... The architects of the time had little materials to work with because they were in the middle of the hot desert. Living in the desert had influence on their religion but also on the architecture. ... This made it difficult for the architecture to be the same, but since they used stone to construct the building, they could build them anywhere. ... The stone buildings were a lot like the stone buildings of the Greek style of architecture, so they had to advance stone buildings. ... With advances like concrete, vaults and arches, they created their own style of architecture, and were able to be more flexible in the structures. ... During the Medieval Ages there were many different types of architecture, so many of the greatest structures of the time do not look similar. ... The church and the castle were the most important buildings at the time, so all the famous buildings from that time are churches and castles. ... Many castles did not make it though time but that was because of war and people trying to destroy the building. ... Most of the time, since it was a religious structure, was not attacked by a war, so they still stand strong. ...
