In the first part there is a person that is desperate and who wants to have some comfort and help because the person has got a lonesome day. He thinks about the past and the memory of the time that they had. But now he has a lonesome day which he has to hold out. The narrator describes all the caress that the person gives to him. With the headline and every last sentences of the three verses he always mention this lonesome day.
