Death of a Salesman
Death of A Salesman Critical Essay A play set in 1940’s America is “Death of A Salesman” by Arthur Miller. ... The protagonist Willy Loman a 63 year old salesman lived in America with his wife Linda and had two sons Biff and Happy who visited at times. ... He has trouble with his job and is unable to go on the road as a salesman anymore. ... As Linda shouted at her sons Willy took off and ended up crashing his car, he thought he would be better off dead because that way Biff could get his money so he could be successful and make the family proud but this was another failure as the money was not liable because it was suicide and not accidental death. Throughout the play I found that Willy’s thought of death got stronger as he saw his son becoming less and less successful and not fulfilling his dreams.
