We find no vestige of Jinnah’s personality traits in our academic pursuits. ... Nevertheless, Jinnah’s character was marked with such loving kindness and brotherly affection that kept him so sensitive and intimate to the injustice done to the Muslim minority in the united India which caused excruciating torture and torment and the martyrdom which seemed endless. Claiming of this internecine carnage displayed by hundreds of thousands of Muslim compatriots in the name of independence, Jinnah said, “I died a million deaths myself”. Books like “JINNAH OF Pakistan” by Stanley Wolpert, provide us an authentic insight into the life of our Quaid and specifically Mohammed Ali Jinnah as a person. However, at this particular moment i would like to express my heartiest felicitations to Akbar Ahmad on behalf of the particular segment of the nation, which enjoyed the movie as much as, i did.
