Human beings are able to communicate in a variety of ways, not limited to only use of words. Such communication is referred to as non-verbal communication. The purpose of my paper is to acknowledge the importance of non-verbal communication and its effects in massage therapy, as well as identify the advantages and disadvantages in utilizing non-verbal communication.
Non-verbal communication conflicts arise when one sends a mixed signal to a receiver, leaving the original thought or message as misinterpreted.
