If you want to know whos blowing up the spot in the high school arena, you will find the players here in Slam Magazine first. ... These are just a few of the players that Slam Magazine chronicled long before they were household names on the B-ball scene. Even more impressive is the coverage they give to Playground legends aka The Goat, Raef Alston, "The Future" and many other players whose game could make it in the NBA big time and really shows this magazine is all about the Love of the Game because I guarantee you there have been guys from the street that could have made Jordan look like a freshman bencher and where many of the "Legendary" stories have come from such as players picking quarters off the top of the backboard.
