In Canada the school year is ten and summer holidays are two months long. For many students school is the ten months of hard, boring and useless studies. School not only gives knowledge to children but it also keeps them under the control. Students spend six hours at school every day. ... Secondary school students do not need their summer holidays to be two month long. The Ministry of Education should consider extending the school year because it will reduce many problems and students as well as their parents will benefit.
