People can easily disguise themselves as young teens or an older refined man. There is no way to tell. If a person wants to go in a chat room and he decides to lie about who he is he can do so just like that. There have been numerous accounts of kids thinking that they are meeting a person who is good looking and interested in them but what they really find out is that the person is a really a 45 year old pervert. On the other hand a chat room can be an excellent place to meet a new love of your life. People all across the are linked up to the Internet and if you live in a small town a chat room is a awesome place to meet people from different cultures and religions. A chat room is also a place to meet new friends and even talk to old ones. Say your best friend moved away and you were dying to talk to her, then one day you get a message out of the blue that reads “its me.” You are the happiest person alive. You can even talk to relatives from the USA that live all the way in France. And its easy too. So as you can see the internet can play used for many different things to talk to friends, to meet a new love and even to stalk someone.
