CASE STUDY (A) The needles from conifer are a pest because the grouse is the only one that eat it, so it don't matter to us. It is a protector to itself. Dandelions are a pest to us because they grow everywhere and even on our lawns, so we have trouble getting rid of them. Grasshoppers are a pest so if we kill them, then the spiders will increase. If there are a lot of spiders than the mouse population will increase. If we kill all of the mice, then there will not be very many hawks. (B) The affected of one animal is if you kill all the grasshoppers the spiders will die off because there is not much to eat and the dandelions will increase by a lot. (C) Three possible short-term benefits of using pesticides are: 1) If we use pesticides it will stop the millers from eating the trees, but we will breath in the air the has the poison and it will affected our eye-coronation and speech.
