Ancient Greek and Roman History I’m an Alcmaeonid. I live in Athens and I have good life, because I’m from the one of the most wealthily families in Athens. I’m going to tell you about development of Democracy in Athens and what does it mean to me . Between years of 8th – 6th century BC, there were fight among the people, citizens and aristocracy. Aristocracy owns most of the land and they took it from farmers and they had to go to slavery, because they had a lot of debts. They were really disappointed and angry with aristocracy.
