A Love of Music
I have always loved music. ... I remember watching a funny man on television playing the guitar on a stool with his thumb taped and thinking, ‘I really want to play the guitar just like him’, and from then on out grew my love of music. ... Still, I love to listen and throughout the course of my life, music has played a key role. For me, more than most people, music evokes overwhelming emotions and memories. When I was in high school music developed into gateway for emotions and I doubt that I would be doing so good if music had not been a part in my life.
I have learned to respect, but not necessarily enjoy most all music. When I feel down I enjoy listening to the blues or uplifting music like oldies or anything with a major tonality. For most people the music they like is a reflection of their personality, while the music I enjoy more often reflects my mood.
