The Giver: The Road To Destination
People make a difference in other’s lives or within their society. In the book The Giver, Lois Lowry tries to give her readers an understanding of how one person can change the lives of others. By using Jonas as an example, Lois Lowry is able to demonstrate her thoughts. Jonas develops some positive personalities that allow him to complete his destiny. Jonas is able to change his community with his selflessness, integrity, and perseverance. When Jonas gained more knowledge, he becomes selfless towards others.
