Masterpiece
I was doodling in the margins of my physics notes the other day when suddenly I realized that I had drawn a masterpiece of art. It was the most magnificent little sketch of nothing really in particular, all in about a square inch of space—it was certainly a masterpiece, even according to the dictionary. ... However, in reality I did not draw a masterpiece, because apparently squiggles on notebook paper can’t be considered as such. ... Da Vinci’s Mona Lisa would be considered by many to be a piece of art capable of being classified as a masterpiece.
