Through magazines, television shows, internet and many other sources, they are led to believe that the perfect image is to have the most up to date items, beauty and certain characteristics. ... They believe that through cosmetic surgery, materialistic items and certain personality traits they can be the image society wants them to be. Those are the three factors that teenagers feel will help them achieve the perfect image. ... Society has influenced us, the teenagers, to believe that celebrities have the “ideal” image. ... Unfortunately, too many of them choose fashion models or actresses as their role model, which leads them to resort to dangerous methods to try and achieve their image. ...
