Chapter 7 marks the beginning of the climax chapters. Bernard and Lenina walk into the "Savage Reservation" and are disgusted by the dirtiness and filth that surrounds them. The differences between their "Utopia" and the Reservation amaze them."But cleanliness is next to fordliness," she insisted. "Yes, and civilization is sterilization," Bernard went on... Lenina gets very distressed after seeing the Reservation and when she goes in search of her soma she discovers that she left it in their "rest-cabin." She becomes extremely agitated because she cannot escape the reality of what surrounds her. When Bernard and Lenina head back to their "rest-cabin" they are confronted by a man, who unlike the savages, is white with blonde hair. He says his name is John, and after Bernard and Lenina talk to him for awhile they discover that he is the son of a woman originally from the "Utopia" who had become accidentally pregnant. The woman was the one that the Director of the Hatchery had left behind so many years before. They also discovered that the woman was still alive. John talks Bernard and Lenina into going to see his "mother", Linda. Meanwhile, John has fallen in love with Lenina. At th
