A Tip on Tipping Waiters
I remember one day I went to a fantastic restaurant with great food. The sad part about it was that I had a horrible time, and the food ended up not settling well in my stomach, all because of the disgusting service I had received. However, I was forced to go again. By one of my friends who wanted to eat there, but this time the kindest and most delightful waitress served us. The difference between the two is that the unfriendly one got a one-dollar tip, while I give the friendly one an eight-dollar tip. I feel that waitress should be rewarded depending on the service they give. Good waitress receives more money by tips than by getting more per hour. Customers also always feel such better if they are able to thank the waiter for their service with a tip. Waiter should receive tips.
First waiters should be able to be rewarded depending on sorry service they give. If a waiter knows that he or she is getting a tip depending on their service, he or she strives to give good service so they can get more money. An employer sees which of his employee's works well and is able to raise the pay or promote of the waiter by seeing the tips and attitudes the restaurant attendant gets from his customers. A tip also helps the waiter know if he gave good service or not, depending on the amount.
Next, a good waiter is always also able to make more money by getting tips than by getting just a bit more per hour. A good waiter always looks for people to help and tables to serve, while on the other hand, lazy waiters do not look for people. Therefore, they will not get any money. If the waiters all got paid the same, the good waiters would not get their money for what they worked. They will not get the money for what they worked, because they will have worked harder and would still get paid the same amount as the lazy waiters.
