A New Progression Of Man

The Transcendental philosophy is a unique and beautiful expression of man's bond to individuality and to the natural world around him. Some purists of this belief even managed to phase out all other aspects of life, and Transcendentalism became their lives. This way of life stresses that man should not conform to the standards of other people, but to find their persona and inner-thoughts through nature and self-reliance. As honorable as this may sound, it has many contradicting factors to Christianity, and I intend to show how the Christian and Transcendental beliefs affect each other through contradiction and inspiration to each one.
Transcendentalism was an influential and important movement that flourished during the early to mid-nineteenth century in New England, and abroad in Europe. The principle belief is that there is one psyche managed under an over-soul, or life force, and that man is to emphasize the importance of self-reliance under this life force. The way to manage your life is to express individuality and the absorption of the world around you to further your cause in finding your inner persona. Despite these ideas having a religious application, the belief is simply a philosophy, simply because there is no belief in a God, afterlife, or consequences for actions in this life affecting the next life, three character-istics of all major religions.
Thus, in conclusion, I know that for a fact the Transcendentalist faith is easily complimentary and contradictory to the faith of Christians worldwide. The ideas and philosophy is easily contributing to the delinquency of others around us, but in the end, all that matters is that we get some spiritual inspiration help us guide into our lives.
