"Enem Of The State Reaction Paper
Enemy of the state is a movie that depicts what can happens when you are deprived of the right to privacy. In the movie, common lawyer privacy is invaded upon after he is unknowingly entrusted with a copy of videotape a crocked government official doesn't want to get out into the media. The lawyer and his family suffer many heartaches due to a simple misunderstanding and the likes of technology that we as a people are capable of in today's society.
The movie basically starts of with a man copying a videotape of to a tape that would be would be size efficient to be placed in a video game and placed it in some kind of device that resembles a video game . All the while another man ,the lawyer, is walking down a sidewalk picking up a few thing for his wife and son for Christmas . In conjunction to his walking down the sidewalk the man that has came up with this device is being chased by government officials ,whom become aware of his having the tape by the tapping of his phone line . They meet up at a lingerie store where they exchange greetings realizing the know each other from college and the man being chased slips the device into the lawyers bag while taking a business card from the layer . The man that is attempting to escape is later killed and the government agents take the business card linking the lawyer to the incident to which he is naive.
As a result of this the lawyer suffers almost losing his marriage , losing his job , and losing all of his money. He has been forewarned of issue a such as this by his wife who is certainly against the government being capable of keeping such tabs on it's citizens. To wrap it up he get all of his belongings back after all these heartaches , but still had to endure them for some time.
I strongly agree with the lawyer's wife . The government in this motion picture is by far too powerful . They have more technological Knowledge than is need to run a country well ,and keep the peace. When...
