Foster explain how the act is affecting many colleges in America and also how the schools feel about their new obligations. Although many students are not aware of the act, most of those who do are unhappy about it. While campus officials are also unhappy about it they also have to focus on what they are going to do when they are forced to pry into student lives.
The USA Patriot Act has and will affect school campuses in numerous ways. This act has amended many laws, which were made in the interest of students. The laws that once protected US citizens from having their email and all other electronic communications intercepted by the government. Some schools are making policies on how the situation will be taken care of if and when a government official asks for student information; others are left worried and confused.
