2 Weeks In Tokyo

When I decided to go to Tokyo for 2 weeks, I did not have any idea about the Japanese culture. In my first days in JApan, I found the country extremely developed, and the people were very nice, and polite(there are exceptions). The culture is very interesting, and the history was incredible.
On the other hand, I could see the effects of Western Culture in Japan. The relationships are changing, and the traditional japanese culture is changing. The relationships between the children, and their fathers are getting wors, and Japanese people are getting more&more "materialist" and "induvidualist" like our Western countires. I hope this wrong going will stop, and they will be able to understand, and keep their beautiful culture.

As I learned from my friends, "sex" is not a sin for Japanese people. From the westen point of view, that was also very interesting. So basically it doesnt mean so much to Japanese people(of course there are exceptions), and the people start having sexual experiences in their very early ages. Maybe that is also another bad effect on their relationships.
Inspite of having the world's lowest divorce rate, I dont think that the japanese families are strong or based on love.
Maybe it is all about being "industrialized". "Materialism" and "individualism" are the most important problems of the Industrially Advanced countries. While improving their lifer standards, literacy rates, and life expectancy, they also lose important things such as "love".
I think it is important to keep "values" while improving "industrially". Because the things that keep us different from the "animals" are the "Values" and "Ethics".
